$22.00/hour Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 6:00 am-4:30 pm; Saturday, 6:00 am-10:00 am Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Materials Planning Support Specialist to join our team. This urgent role requires a candidate with strong warehouse experience, particularly in shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable using warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, and possess solid computer skills for inventory and data management. Key Responsibilities:
Ensure a continuous supply of materials to support production and sales requirements. Assist in the sourcing, quality assurance, and cost-effectiveness of materials. Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with purchasing to maintain adequate stock of parts and raw materials. Proactively resolve material shortages and challenges to meet inventory and business metrics. Identify and evaluate potential new suppliers to guarantee value and quality. Maintain accurate procurement and inventory records in supply chain management or enterprise systems. Create and update bills of material and part numbers within relevant systems. Develop basic specifications for new contract orders and report on supplier performance as needed. Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred. 1+ years of relevant warehouse or materials planning experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Experience in shipping, receiving, and pulling orders is required. Proficient in operating warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.). Strong computer skills:
data entry, inventory management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to follow established procedures and adapt as needed to meet job requirements. Desired Competencies:
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Reliability and ability to maintain productivity with minimal supervision. Effective communication and problem-solving abilities. Scope & Complexity:
