R Clerk - Mobile Kitting (Mid Shift 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.) Job Description This role supports a busy mobile kitting department by assembling, packaging, and preparing materials for shipment in a clean, climate-controlled, metal-free facility. You will handle boxes and kitting tasks, maintain accurate records, and work autonomously while meeting productivity and quality expectations in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assemble and kit materials according to established procedures and work instructions. Move boxes and materials within the department, including lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds. Build and palletize loads, including wrapping pallets and preparing them for storage or shipment. Fold, tape, and prepare boxes to ensure secure and accurate packaging. Maintain accurate and organized records related to kitting and material handling activities. Work autonomously while following all department guidelines and production schedules. Demonstrate thoroughness and strong attention to detail in completing all tasks. Support production ramps during peak periods, including Q2 and Q4, by remaining fully committed to the work schedule. Adhere to attendance and schedule expectations, including potential weekend work in December to support peak volume. Communicate effectively in English with supervisors and team members to receive instructions and report issues. Follow all facility rules related to working in a metal-free environment. Essential Skills Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 50 pounds safely and repeatedly. Experience with basic warehouse or kitting tasks such as taping, folding, and preparing boxes. Ability to perform pallet building and palletization, including wrapping pallets. Comfort working autonomously while maintaining productivity and quality standards. Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in task completion. Ability to maintain accurate and organized records. Capability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English. Willingness to fully commit to the assigned work schedule and attendance expectations, including peak periods. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in a warehouse, kitting, or packaging environment is beneficial. Comfort working in a structured environment with defined performance metrics and customer KPIs. Reliability and strong work ethic, especially during peak seasonal periods. The environment is fast-paced yet organized, with clear processes for kitting, palletization, and packaging. You will spend most of your time on your feet, handling boxes and materials, and using standard packaging supplies and equipment. The dress code supports safe material handling and compliance with the metal-free policy. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Lewisville, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
