Job Description

Job Summary Performs warehouse and distribution activities in accordance with organizational policies and applicable government laws or regulations as well as general sanitation duties as outlined by company policies. General Accountabilities Assists in physically receiving packaging goods inventory (i.e. boxes, bottles, caps, case/kits)and as well as receiving, weighing and recording inbound produce inventory orders from suppliers Verifies actual counts of goods received to corresponding documentation (packing slips, invoices, pick lists) and notes any discrepancies Inspects and performs quality concepts/testing to raw produce and logs in corresponding documentation Receives raw material & dry material and assigns internal lot coding Takes lead in tagging and staging all produce for each recipe work orders/pallets and ensures FIFO inventory method is achieved and accurate lot numbers are recorded for during picking/staging process. Provides completed/signed documentation (i.e. Weight checks, Pick Lists, Truck Inspections, Delivery Receipts) to the Procurement and/or QA department by end of each day as required and/or as established by food safety requirements of site. Verifies all third party delivery personnel/truck drivers have signed visitor log in the lobby before entering any part of the site (SQF requirement) Completes physical weekly counts of raw materials & dry inventory (lids,label,bottles, etc) by SKU and lot number and provides to Supervising Manager and Food Safety Manager Maintains designated work areas in site clean & organized. Role requires for lead to be responsible of documentation of daily cleaning/sanitation records Be actively involved in training of additional personnel in receiving area Conduct duties and work responsibilities within compliance of food safety standards established, OSHA & company code. The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time. Lead must have awareness of production recipe runs & scheduling changes, to allow for support of production needs. Be able to have understanding of team development & actively have participation within team Adhere to policies and procedures of company, production & warehouse work area.
  • will be responsible for operations of the forklift & palletizer machine, and will be required to report any maintenance issues to proper management channel Job Qualifications
  • Certified forklift operator
  • Good verbal communication skills and demonstrates legible and organized documentation
  • Punctual, accountable and willingness to learn more
  • Able to repetitively lift up to 45 lbs for the duration of shift
  • Must be capable of standing, walking, for extended periods of time
  • Must be capable of working in warm environment for the duration of shift
  • Work fluctuating hours and days based on business needs Forklift Operation
  • Completes assignments in an organized, clean, accurate and damage free manner
  • Properly and accurately puts up or brings down product from assigned slots stocking
  • Operates equipment per SOP's and work instructions to prevent damage
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION PREFERRED
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • Basic Math Skills (+,

$16.00
