Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Associate to join our team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our warehouse. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including order fulfillment, inventory control, and heavy equipment operation. Responsibilities:
  • Assist in receiving, storing, and shipping products in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Perform tasks related to order fulfillment, including picking, packing, and loading products onto trucks or pallets.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking and reporting inventory levels and identifying discrepancies.
  • Operate heavy equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and dock lifts, to move goods around the warehouse.
  • Utilize mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment.
  • Work closely with the Warehouse Supervisor to ensure that warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Load and unload trucks and trailers to ensure that all products are properly secured and protected during transportation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor.
  • May drive company vehicle to various locations for pick-ups and deliveries as needed.
Skills:
  • Proven experience in order fulfillment and inventory control.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures.
  • Experience with heavy equipment operation, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to perform routine maintenance and repairs.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
  • Experience in managing inventory and ensuring that stock levels are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
  • Warehouse experience
  • Inventory control expertise
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment
  • Clean driving record and valid Driver's License.
  • Forklift Certified Preferred but not required.
  • Effective communication skills for coordinating warehouse activities Overall, this role requires a highly motivated and organized individual who is passionate about logistics and warehousing.
