SUMMARY The Warehouse Technician is responsible for the organization, safety, and upkeep of the Midland facility in compliance with HSE standards. Primary responsibilities include receiving, storing, staging, and preparing materials and finished products for shipment, as well as loading unloading trucks and trailers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct physical inventory counts in coordination with management. Use company-issued iPad to manage, track, and complete assigned tasks. Receive inbound materials from suppliers and other company facilities, ensuring accurate labeling, documentation, and proper storage. Stock received and in-house produced materials, ensuring containers are clean, properly labeled, and compliant with standards. Safely move, stage, and organize materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, etc., and other powered industrial equipment. Transfer in-house produced products into drums, totes, or other containers for order fulfillment. Load and unload trucks, trailers, and bulk tankers, including completing operational checklists and performing weight-to-volume conversions. Assist with blending operation when needed and as directed. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse, yard, and storage area by disposing of waste, damaged pallets, and other discarded items safely. Report issues promptly to Supervisor.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED. Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in a warehouse or production support environment. Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written and oral instructions, including safety rules, SOPs, and material identification. Strong mathematical skills (basic arithmetic and unit conversions). Basic computer skills. Experience operating powered industrial equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, skid loaders). Forklift operation certified (in-house training required). Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Team-oriented with the ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to safely lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 75 pounds, including handling empty 55-gallon drums. Ability to work weekends, overtime, and in variable environmental conditions (heat, cold, weather exposure). Frequent standing, climbing, bending, and lifting (approximately 95% of the work performed on forklift).
