Job Summary:
The Dock worker will consistently be unloading tires from trucks and trailers, utilize a forklift to keep the dock clear and perform other duties whenever needed so adaptability and flexibility are key qualities for this position. This role works in all weather conditions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitor system to ensure equipment is running and working properly. Reports any unusual noise or equipment malfunction to Supervisor. Operate Skid Steer and Front Loader in yard Responsible for keeping the equipment, and the yard clean.
Skills and Abilities:
Have excellent attention to detail and be able to inspect with accuracy and speed. Must be able lift 50 pounds repetitively throughout the day. Be DEPENDABLE and have reliable transportation. Have steel toe boots.
Background and Drug Screening:
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
Education and Experience:
Prior experience in the tire recycling or manufacturing industry is a plus. Forklift experience preferred Bobcat experience preferred Front Loader experience
