Job Description

MATERIAL

HANDLERMonday - Friday7:00 am - 4:30 pm $17.50 per hour 

ESSENTIAL JOB

FUNCTIONSVerify accuracy of all incoming and outgoing material quantities and maintain required documentation.

Physically move and track department inventory, keeping system records current.

Conduct cycle counts and post totals to inventory records to ensure accurate stock levels.

Pull and stage materials for work orders, recording all required trace documentation.

Order inventory items as needed to maintain appropriate stock for customer demand.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety procedures and company policies.

Follow OSHA and company health and safety guidelines at all times. 

JOB REQUIREMENTS3

years of material handling or inventory control in a manufacturing environment.

Forklift experience required.

Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and work independently with minimal errors.

Demonstrated ability to work safely, maintain good housekeeping, and follow established procedures.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (team lift required for weights over 50 lbs.).
