MATERIAL
HANDLERMonday - Friday 6:00 am - 5:30 pm$18.00 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB
FUNCTIONSRead production schedule or requisition to determine items to be distributed. Moves material between receiving and production. Sorts and stores material according to established procedures. Fills material requisitions. Opens crates and other containers. Counts and records the amount of material received and distributed. Enters receiving and disbursement data into the ERP system.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or GED required; 1-3 months of related experience or training preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experienceRead, analyze, and interpret procedure manuals, blueprints, safety rules, and operating/maintenance proceduresPerform basic math functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and divisionSolve practical problems and adapt to changing situations in a fast-paced environment
