  • Responsibilities for a Material Handler include but are not limited to:

Shipping & Receiving:
  • Perform all warehouse duties related to receiving, shipping, and storing Raw Materials and Finished Goods; review shipments and accompanying documents for quality and accuracy. +
  • Material Transport:
  • Identify and transport materials to and from loading docks, trucks, and storage areas; manage and pile drums, skids, and pallets in specified locations. +
  • Safety & Maintenance:
  • Use strapping equipment and protective materials to secure loads; perform housekeeping tasks to keep work areas clean and comply with
  • OSHA
  • regulatory requirements. +
  • Inventory Support:
  • Assist in various cycle counting tasks and inventory audits; ensure prompt delivery of items based on machine loading capacities and schedules.
  • Candidates for Material Handler must meet the following requirements to be considered:
  • + •
Forklift Certification:
  • Must have verified
  • Powered Industrial Truck (Sit-Down Forklift)
  • experience; a practical evaluation will be administered prior to hiring. +
  • Professional Experience:
  • A minimum of
  • one year
  • of relevant warehouse experience is preferred;
  • Clamp lift
  • truck experience and
  • RF scanner
  • proficiency are a plus. +
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong basic math and written communication skills; ability to exercise responsibility for preventing loss or damage to equipment. +
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to perform physical demands of the role (lifting, bending, standing) and maintain regular, punctual attendance.
