Material Handler Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our team in a full-time capacity during the first shift. As a Material Handler, you will be involved in all facets of warehouse operations. If you are punctual, communicative, diligent, and detail-oriented with a knack for teamwork, this opportunity is perfect for you. Responsibilities Lift and move items weighing 50 pounds or more regularly. Fulfill production orders from the main warehouse location. Pick and deliver parts as requested. Identify and label materials accurately, and record warehouse locations to maintain precise inventory levels. Replenish primary stock locations as needed. Perform and report inventory cycle counts. Conduct daily mail runs between buildings. Engage in light housekeeping and maintenance duties, including creating crates for finished assembled products. Essential Skills Experience with Warehouse Management Systems; Oracle knowledge is a plus. Proficiency in operating material handling equipment. Ability to work effectively in a team environment with strong communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Basic computer skills, including email and typing. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Capability to stand or walk for extended periods. Physical ability to squat, bend, kneel, and reach overhead and forward. Experience with pallet jack operation, SAP systems, and RF scanners. Self-motivated, energetic, and agile. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a climate-controlled, electronic manufacturing warehouse. Shifts run from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, and the role requires climbing rolling ladders up to 14 feet and manual order picking with minimal computer use. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plano, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
