Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic warehouse team as an Inbound Associate, where your energy and attention to detail will drive the seamless flow of goods into our distribution center. In this vital role, you will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and accurately processing incoming shipments to ensure inventory accuracy and operational efficiency. Responsibilities Unload shipments using equipment such as pallet jacks, reach trucks, or forklifts while adhering to safety protocols. Operate RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to accurately record inbound inventory data. Inspect incoming goods for damage or discrepancies and document findings thoroughly. Organize and stock received items efficiently within designated storage areas, ensuring proper placement for easy retrieval. Assist with order picking, packing, and preparing items for outbound shipping as needed. Support shipping and receiving activities by coordinating with the outbound team to ensure timely dispatches. Maintain accurate records of inbound shipments using systems like AS400 or MRP software, ensuring data integrity at all times. Requirements Previous warehouse experience with familiarity in warehouse distribution processes is highly preferred. Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners safely and effectively. Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400, or MRP software is a plus. Strong basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying inventory quantities. Experience with order fulfillment, picking & packing, shipping & receiving processes in an e-commerce environment is advantageous. Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks efficiently. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accuracy in stocking and inventory management.
