Job Description
KP Staffing is now hiring material handlers for a company in Round Rock, TX! Job Summary The material handler will handle and maintain the flow of materials and products throughout the production facility while ensuring materials are moved, stored, and distributed according to established guidelines. Pay $16 - $18 per hour Shift 1st shift Duties Physically handle materials used to construct components and finished products Lift, carry, stack, and move materials as needed Operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment Follow training provided by foremen and senior material handlers Observe and follow all workplace safety procedures and practices Attend safety meetings and assist with maintaining a safe work environment Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or GED Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply Ability to operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment Strong manual dexterity Knowledge of safe material handling procedures Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions Ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs Ability to perform tasks involving climbing, lifting, pushing, and kneeling Ability to work in a production environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, dust, mechanical equipment, and chemicals
