Job Description

WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE KBK
to the Trade is an interior design showroom with over 40 years working with high end luxury goods. Our greatest strength includes our diverse product mix, range of expertise, collaborative work environment, personalized customer service, client trust, strong vendor relationships and respected teamwork. Job Summary We are seeking a reliable, physically fit Warehouse Associate to join our furniture operations White Glove Receiving and Delivery team. This role focuses on the manual handling and organization of high-quality furniture. Because we do not use forklifts, this position requires exceptional physical stamina and the ability to move heavy and oversized items. This is a full-time, salaried position.
Work Schedule :
Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm Key Responsibilities •
Manual Loading & Unloading:
Hand-load and unload furniture shipments from delivery trucks; verify inventory against manifests. •
Team Lifting:
Collaborate closely with coworkers to safely maneuver heavy and oversized items (sofas, wardrobes, dining tables) using proper manual techniques. •
Equipment Operation:
Use furniture dollies, hand trucks, and four-wheelers to transport inventory across the warehouse. •
Quality & Prep:
Inspect furniture for defects. Wrap and pad items securely to ensure they remain in showroom condition. •
Vehicle Movement:
Assist in moving or staging delivery vans/trucks within the loading dock area as needed. •
Organization:
Maintain a tidy hazard-free warehouse to ensure safe manual handling and efficient workflow. Required Skills & Qualifications •
Physical Stamina:
Ability to consistently lift, push, pull and carry items weighing between 75 -150 lbs. •
Valid Driver's License:
Must possess a clean driving record and a current, valid license. •
Reliable Transportation:
Must have a dependable means of getting to work on time. •
Safety Awareness:
Committed to using proper ergonomics and strict "team-lift" protocols to prevent injury and product damage. •
Communications:
Ability to give and follow clear verbal cures during two-person carries to ensure safety. Preferred Experience • Previous experience in professional moving services, home delivery, or furniture retail. • Experience with "white glove" handling or delicate, high-end inventory
