About us Advanced Composites International (ACI) is a small business in Spring, TX. We are professional, customer-centric and our goal is to create high quality composite materials. Advanced Composites International was founded in Texas in 2021 to fulfill the markets need for quality guaranteed thick-section fiber-reinforced thermoset composites. ACI employs a host of composite manufacturing techniques to bring quality composite products to the oil & gas, aerospace, automobile, sports and entertainment industries..
Our work environment includes:
Safe work environment International workforce On-the-job training Qualifications No prior advanced material manufacturing experience is required. Production line working experience is preferred. Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods of time, 8 hours a day including but not limited to: frequently and repetitively, lift, push and carry up to 35lbs. and regularly carrying up to 20 lbs. Must be at least 18 years of age. All potential employees will be required to successfully pass a comprehensive background check. Responsibilities As an Advanced Material Handler, you will be trained to drive productivity on the production Line for the manufacturing of advanced composites materials. Follow safety guidelines and procedures. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to Supervisor or area lead. Report any equipment damage or repairs needed to repair shop and Supervisor or area lead. Punctuality and a professional, can-do attitude are a must. Frequently and repetitively, bend, lift and reach to squeeze and recycle material. Stoop, lay, bend, reach, squat, kneel, crouch, twist and crawl for extended periods of time. Ability to find issues in a work process and receive safety signals using sight, touch, and hearing. Open to schedule flexibility that will allow for a variety of shifts, including days, nights, or weekends as needed. Wearing Personal Protective Equipment, including but not limited to respirator, masks, safety glasses, safety shoes, bump caps, and adhering to prescribed safety rules and guidelines. Exemplary attendance and punctuality are crucial for the team to achieve success.
