Company Overview Panel Specialists Inc. is a leading manufacturer of decorative wood laminated products, utilizing high-pressure decorative laminates. Based in Temple, TX, the company has been serving the industry since 1990 and employs approximately 150 dedicated team members in the area. Job Overview We are seeking a motivated Packaging Material Handler to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the movement, storage, and handling of packaging materials to support our production and shipping operations. Your energetic approach and attention to safety will help ensure smooth workflow and timely deliveries. Responsibilities Packages products according to established guidelines, customer requirements, and quality standards. Verifies product quantities and labeling accuracy before packaging. Uses packaging tools, equipment, and machinery safely and efficiently, able to read a tape measure accurately. Able to drive forklift safely with wide loads; load trucks with forklift; operate a Hand Banding machine; table saw and skill saw. Inspects products for damage or defects and reports issues to the supervisor. Prepares finished packages for shipping, including stacking, palletizing, and wrapping pallets. Maintains inventory of packaging materials and notifies supervisor when supplies are low. Completes required documentation, including sales orders, labels, and quality checklists. Keeps workstations clean and organized and follows all safety policies. Assists with basic warehouse tasks such as material handling, staging, or loading as required. Able to lift 50 lbs. solely, 150 lbs. with assistance Performs other duties as assigned. Warehouse experience is a must.
