Candidate MUST have a clean driving record and be able to communicate well with customers, and fellow employees. Time management skills and attention to detail are important characteristics for success in the position. Some night and scheduled weekend "on-call" hours are required (weekend pay is separate and on top of weekly hourly pay). Company offers competitive pay (commensurate with experience), paid Vacation time, paid sick-leave time, simple IRA retirement account matching, flexible scheduling, and on the job training. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial vehicles such as box trucks and other delivery vans to transport medical equipment and supplies to various medical facilities in the region Drive efficiently and safely, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management, organizing stock, and maintaining cleanliness Clean, test, repair, and prepare medical equipment for next use Provide outstanding customer service during deliveries by communicating clearly, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety and compliance with company policies Be able to train customers on the proper usage and function of medical equipment when asked Fill out proper delivery paperwork thoroughly and ensure accuracy before submitting to billing department SKILLS Clean driving record with a valid driver's license required Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally and courteously Team player that can adapt to a different scenario daily and maintain flexibility with the various daily needs as dictated by customer calls and scenarios Reliable transportation to get to work each day and an understanding that scheduled on-call weekends are required with this job
