The primary responsibility of the Warehouse Worker is to assist the Store Manager with stocking food and clothing, doing inventory, and providing an excellent customer service experience to our patrons. This position requires good time management skills and an ability to work independently and take initiative. Organization is a must.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 23 years old, have a valid Texas driver's license, and meet all applicable Texas Department of Family and Protective Services licensing requirements.
IMPORTANT NOTE
Position is Monday - Friday from 7am-4pm, for 40 hours per week
Responsibilities:
The Warehouse Worker is the primary staff responsible for the Tyler food pantry in the absence of the Store Manager. With this designation, he/she is responsible for the administration of these areas: The organization and stocking of food and clothing items. Utilizing equipment to move bulk inventory. Stooping, packing, bending, lifting heavy freight with proper technique. Be willing to travel to other food pantries when help is necessary. Be able to drive food pantry vehicles if needed. Assist with loading and unloading freight. Positive attitude with a mindset of service is critical. Execute other duties as assigned by supervisor.
