    Hours of Operation:
    Warehouse personnel work in 8-hour shifts or until daily workload is completed, Monday-Friday, hours 10:00 am - 7:00 pm - or work is done. A possible Saturday may be required. Exceptions are during peak seasons (Holiday/Disaster Response) where some overtime may be required. Mandatory weekends are during Annual Inventory and Bi-Annual AIB Audits.
      Environment:
      Involves activities in both office and warehouse environments. There are extended periods of sitting, standing, lifting, and bending, listening, talking and/or visual concentration. The noise in the work environment is usually moderate to loud
      • Work in a cold/wet storage facility environment (ranging from - 0 (freezer) to 55 degrees Fahrenheit).
      General warehouse temps 34-110 degrees.
      Travel:
      CTFB serves 21 counties in central Texas and often requires same-day travel between counties, using a personal vehicle, CTFB passenger fleet and possibly occasional out of town travel for meetings, special events or meetings for some positions.
      OSHA Standards:
      Lifting requirements are 50 pounds and when lifting loads heavier than 50 pounds, use two or more people to lift the load. Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, pull, grasp and reach above the head continuously for a period of two hours or more. Position Overview The Warehouse Order Selector is responsible, using a pick list to pick customer orders from stored inventory and customer delivery. The role requires Specifically, the position involves the systematic retrieval of specific products from warehouse shelving to fulfill internal or external requisitions. As needed, perform general warehouse duties and assist with the sanitation, inventory, picking and shipping of all products, from the warehouse facility. This includes the physical handling of products, rotation of stock, inspection of items, and operation of material handling equipment Your Responsibilities
      • Complete all assignments in accordance with food safety and handling regulations to ensure the integrity of products through proper inspection, handling, and storage procedures.
      Accurately pick and select items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications. Use handheld scanners or mobile devices to track inventory and ensure accuracy. (not sure we do this) Pack and label products for shipment, ensuring they meet quality standards. Picking out ordered items from storage shelves or rooms using barcodes, serial numbers, etc. Affix product labels appropriately on cases (or products) then place them on pallets in an organized fashion. Confirm the correct product has been selected and is damage-free. Ensure consistent application of "first-in first-out" rule as it relates to picking orders. Build a stable and well cubed pallet. Securely shrink-wrapping items before placing them in envelopes or boxes. Operating handling equipment according to industrial safety regulations. Loading delivery vehicles. Updating stock inventory after each item is retrieved. Managing stock control, including item replenishment and storage. Clean aisles of debris and return pallet jacks to parking or charging areas. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency. Collaborate with team members to meet daily order fulfillment goals. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to minimize workplace accidents. Perform pre-shift equipment checks to ensure they can operate safely. Performing general warehouse duties as necessary. Work in warm and cold temperature conditions that may range from 38°F to 110°F. Take initiative in identifying areas of improvement within the department and working with management in resolving problems that arise. Your Qualifications
      • High school Diploma or equivalent.
      • Basic Math, Reading and Writing Skills in the English language.
      • Ability to effectively organize and prioritize tasks.
      • Capable of following directions and communicating effectively.
      • Experience providing superior customer service by fulfilling orders with 100% accuracy.
      • Capable of working under pressure, completing various assignments responsibly and in a timely manner
      • Unwavering commitment to quality and excellence in organizational department goals and production standards.
      • Strong work ethic with the tenacity to work under pressure
      • Skills in operating and maintenance of warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, forklifts, coolers, freezers, electronic scales, etc.
      • Forklift Certification is preferred and knowledge of Material Handling Equipment.
