As a valued team member at Ace Hardware Corporation Dallas RSC, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers with their home improvement needs. Your daily tasks will include greeting customers, understanding their requirements, and offering knowledgeable advice on products and solutions. You will maintain a clean, organized sales floor by restocking shelves, arranging merchandise displays, and ensuring accurate product signage. You will handle transactions using the point-of-sale system, process cash and credit payments, and resolve customer inquiries and returns professionally. Product knowledge is essential; you will receive training to stay up-to-date on inventory, new arrivals, and promotions so you can educate customers and help them find the best solutions for their projects. Teamwork is critical in this role. You will collaborate with other staff members to meet sales goals, handle inventory counts, and support efficient store operations. You will also assist with unloading deliveries, inventory management, and maintaining security of the store. The ideal candidate enjoys interacting with people, has strong communication skills, and is comfortable in a fast-paced retail environment. Attention to detail, reliability, and a positive attitude are key attributes for success. Some lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods are required. Previous retail experience or product knowledge in hardware, tools, or home improvement is a plus but not required. Training will be provided to ensure you have the skills and confidence to succeed and grow within our team.
