Centerville, UT We help homeowners and businesses restore their property - and peace of mind - after unexpected damage. As a General Laborer with Paul Davis Restoration, you'll work in homes and commercial properties affected by water, fire, mold, or smoke damage. In this role, you'll help document, pack, protect, and clean customers' belongings. Items are carefully removed, transported to our facility for cleaning, and then returned to the customer. Job Responsibilities Provide friendly, respectful customer service throughout the restoration process Pack, move, and protect customers' belongings with care Clean and restore items affected by smoke, fire, or other damage Document items and work completed during pack-out and cleaning Treat customers' homes and property with respect at all times Assist with additional tasks as assigned by a supervisor Required Skills and Abilities Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen No prior experience required — training provided Comfortable working in a variety of environments, including extreme temperatures Able to lift and move furniture, boxes, and equipment Strong communication and customer service skills Able to follow instructions and stay organized Willingness to learn and follow proper procedures Positive attitude and ability to work well with others Ability to safely use cleaning products and equipment (training provided) Able to pass a respirator physical and fit test Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent Basic knowledge of restoration or cleaning practices is a plus Familiarity with cleaning products and safe handling is helpful (training provided) IICRC certification is a plus, but not required Physical Requirements Heaving lifting (constantly) 5 - 40 pounds, lift (frequently) 20 - 100 pounds Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting, and bending Comfortable working in confined spaces and various environments Able to work in changing weather conditions and varying noise levels Capable of performing repetitive hand and arm movements Ability to operate tools, equipment, and vehicles safely Willingness to move between job sites and remain active throughout the workday Benefits 3 weeks of paid time off 8 company paid holidays 401(k) with company match Medical, dental, vision, life, supplemental, and disability insurance offered On-the-job training to develop new skills
