Working behind the scenes, a warehouse product selector selects and prepares products for delivery to Wegmans stores, playing a key role in keeping shelves stocked and stores running smoothly. What You'll Do Build and handle pallets to minimize product damage and maximize trailer space Perform order audits for accuracy, quality and timeliness Inform management of daily quality issues using a variety of communication techniques Maintain the integrity of the cold chain on loads that have temperature requirements Maintain a clean work environment and ensures that all Wegmans sanitation and food safety guidelines are followed Utilize available technology (Vo-Collect, pallet jacks) at full capacity in the selection process Maintain a focus on safety, including operating powered industrial trucks and observing safety signage Meet engineered labor standards and production selection criteria consistently (CPMH, etc).
