Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pallet Repairer / Assembler to join our manufacturing and logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and assembling wooden pallets to ensure they meet safety and quality standards. This position plays a vital part in maintaining efficient supply chain operations by providing durable, reliable pallets for various industries. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Inspect used pallets for damage, wear, and structural integrity to determine repair needs. Use hand tools and power tools as nail guns and hammers to disassemble damaged pallets and replace broken or missing components. Assemble new or repaired pallets according to specified dimensions and safety standards. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency. Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for tools and materials. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality benchmarks. Requirements Prior experience in pallet repair, assembly, or related woodworking tasks is preferred. Basic knowledge of using hand tools and power tools. Ability to read and interpret work orders and safety instructions accurately. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control. Good physical stamina for lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team. Willingness to adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment.
Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
