POSITION SUMMARY
This position performs daily warehouse inventory control operations, including receiving, ordering, staging, organizing, and monitoring materials and equipment. The role ensures accurate tracking, documentation, and reporting of inventory, while processing daily inventory requests in coordination with internal teams. Responsibilities include managing stock ordering and control, maintaining inventory systems, performing physical counts, reconciling discrepancies, and generating inventory and valuation reports. This position also supports maintenance of the inventory item file database, including creating and updating item records and assisting with material research and quoting. Additionally, the role assists with overall warehouse operations such as order processing, shipping, returns, and material handling. The position requires a high degree of accuracy, organization, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following direction from warehouse leadership. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain inventory control for stock ordering of equipment and materials, including tracking, receiving, storage, and retrieval functions. Process purchase orders and accurately receive materials into inventory systems. Maintain inventory in a clean, organized, and well-documented manner to support accuracy and accessibility. Perform cycle counts and year-end physical inventory counts; research and resolve discrepancies to maintain high inventory accuracy. Coordinate the movement of materials between receiving, storage, shipping, and other designated areas. Assist with quoting inventory supplies, materials, and equipment, including verifying pricing and associated costs. Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively and professionally across all interactions, including verbal, electronic, and written communication. Prepare and provide inventory reports as required, including inventory status and valuation reporting. OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Receive, unload, and process inbound shipments, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders and proper placement within inventory. Sort, label, and store materials in designated locations according to established organization standards. Process returns, inventory adjustments, and corrections to maintain accurate inventory records. Support in the staging, configuration, and preparation of equipment for projects and customer needs. Maintain documentation for inventory processes and assist with special projects at Manager direction. Collaborate with other warehouse personnel to support inventory workflow efficiency and ensure related inventory tasks progress to timely completion. Demonstrates the ability to effectively negotiate and resolve issues while supporting business and operational objectives. Perform general warehouse upkeep, including maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Adhere to all safety procedures and ensure the warehouse is accessible and compliant for personnel and visitors. Maintain flexibility to support operational needs and perform additional duties as assigned or directed. Assist with additional warehouse, operational, or facility-related tasks as needed. Education and Experience:
High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) required. Minimum of two (2) years of experience in warehouse distribution and inventory control. Experience using inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, WMS, NetSuite or similar platforms). Demonstrated ability to maintain, adjust, and ensure accuracy of inventory data. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including data entry, formatting, and use of standard formulas and functions Physical Requirements:
This position operates in a warehouse environment with occasional outdoor exposure and use of standard office and warehouse equipment. The role requires the ability to perform tasks involving movement, positioning, and handling of materials, including bending, reaching, and climbing, with or without reasonable accommodation. Responsibilities may include lifting and carrying items (generally up to 50 lbs., with or without assistance or accommodation), and remaining stationary or moving within the work area for extended periods. Work may be performed in environments with varying noise levels. Reasonable accommodations will be provided to enable qualified individuals to perform essential job functions in accordance with applicable laws. Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities. However, it may provide guidance, training, and support to Warehouse Assistant Processors and other personnel performing inventory control functions as required.
