Warehouse Associate / Future Operations Lead

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Warehouse Associate to join a growing manufacturing and production operation in Fairfax, Virginia. This is not just a basic warehouse role. The company is looking for someone who wants to build a long-term career, learn the full operation, and grow into a larger leadership position over time. The right candidate will work hands-on in the warehouse handling shipping, packaging, inventory, forklift operation, and production support while also learning specialized waterjet cutting equipment. Over time, this person may have the opportunity to move into operations coordination and eventually help lead and hire additional warehouse staff as the company grows.

Responsibilities:

Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely Package and prepare outgoing shipments Receive and organize incoming materials Assist with inventory and material handling Learn and operate waterjet cutting machinery Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse Support day-to-day production operations Assist with process improvement and workflow organization

Qualifications:

Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred Forklift experience preferred Mechanically inclined and willing to learn machinery Strong work ethic and dependable attendance Team-oriented with a positive attitude Looking for long-term growth and advancement opportunities

Compensation & Benefits:

Starting pay: $21-$23/hour depending on experience Increase to approximately $23-$25/hour after training and probationary period PTO after 60 days Benefits offered after 60 days 401(k) with company match after probationary period This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants stability, growth, and the chance to become an important long-term part of a growing company.
