Job Description

Matern Staffing is hiring a General Laborer for a wall barrier engineering and manufacturing facility in Spotsylvania, VA. In this role, you'll play a key part in producing high-quality perimeter products by supporting daily plant operations and assisting with a variety of hands-on tasks. Strong problem-solving skills and effective time management will help you contribute to efficient production and reliable results.
Salary:
1st Shift•$16/hr 2nd Shift•$18.98/hr
Schedule:
1st Shift•Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM 2nd Shift•Monday-Friday, 4:00 pm to 1:00 am
What You'll Do:
Packs materials into shipments for delivery Completes general maintenance, housekeeping, and landscaping in and around the factory Operates factory machines and various power tools to complete general tasks Closely follows directions to operate machinery, hold or supply materials and tools, and load or unload items on machinery and assembly lines
What You'll Need:
High school diploma or GED Mechanical knowledge and curiosity to understand how parts fit and work together Great collaboration and communication skills for understanding and completing tasks independently or with teammates and managers Proactively approaches situations with excellent time management, problem solving, and prioritization skills Comes to work prepared, focused and dedicated About our
