Warehouse Material Handler

Duties Safely load and unload shipments using pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment while adhering to OSHA safety standards Operate RF scanners and warehouse management systems to accurately pick, pack, and process orders Handle materials with precision, including heavy lifting and mechanical tasks related to construction or industrial supplies Assist with shipping and receiving activities by verifying inventory counts and ensuring proper documentation Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse to promote a safe working environment Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize storage solutions and improve operational workflows Experience Prior experience in warehouse distribution or logistics environments is highly preferred Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment such as cranes, forklifts, clamp trucks, or load & unload machinery Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for inventory control Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations related to materials handling and heavy equipment operation Previous roles involving order picking, shipping & receiving, or construction materials handling are advantageous Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to perform routine maintenance on equipment if needed Warehouse supervisor experience or leadership roles are a plus for candidates interested in growth opportunities
