Part-Time Warehouse & Operations Associate Prince Michel Winery -
Leon, Virginia Position Overview:
Prince Michel Winery is seeking a dependable and motivated Part-Time Warehouse & Operations Associate to support our winery operations. This position plays a key role in warehouse organization, inventory management, facility maintenance, product deliveries, and event logistics. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. This is a physically active position that requires frequent lifting, movement of inventory and equipment, and a strong commitment to workplace safety. This position offers room for growth within the company and provides a great opportunity to gain experience in winery operations, logistics, and event support.
Schedule:
Part-Time Position Up to 32 hours per week Flexible schedule, including occasional weekends and special events as needed
Responsibilities:
Assist with general warehouse operations and organization Maintain accurate inventory and stock levels Receive, store, and organize products and supplies Support facility and grounds maintenance projects Assist with festival and event setup, breakdown, deliveries, and equipment pickup Deliver and pick up winery products, materials, and supplies as needed Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently Follow safety procedures and company policies Work collaboratively with team members across multiple departments Complete assigned tasks independently and efficiently Commitment to following all company safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices Ability to operate vehicles, equipment, and tools in a safe and responsible manner Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, and move products, equipment, and supplies weighing 50 pounds or more Ability to safely load and unload vehicles and equipment
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred Valid driver's license required Must have a safe driving record and be insurable under the winery's vehicle insurance policy Ability to operate company vehicles safely and responsibly CDL Class B preferred but not required Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately Self-motivated with a positive attitude Strong teamwork and communication skills Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; prior warehouse supervisor experience is a plus Previous warehouse, maintenance, delivery, or inventory experience is a plus
