Job Title Remodeling Crew - 1099 Insurance Contractor Job Summary Mapleton LLC is hiring reliable 1099 remodeling contractors for full interior restoration and insurance‑related construction projects. You will work under a project manager who handles estimating, paperwork, materials, and scheduling — you focus on completing the job with quality and consistency. This position is ideal for dependable workers who can follow direction, communicate clearly, and complete tasks efficiently. Pay is hourly but issued at job completion, with raises at 30 and 90 days. Responsibilities Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials or equipment safely and efficiently Prepare work sites by cleaning, organizing, and setting up tools and supplies Perform interior remodeling tasks — work includes (but is not limited to) demo, framing, drywall, flooring, painting, trim, cabinetry, and general repairs Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a secure work environment Support full restoration projects including water damage, fire damage, and insurance claim repairs Help with site cleanup and waste disposal to keep the work area tidy and compliant with safety standards Collaborate effectively with team members to meet project deadlines and quality expectations Complete additional duties as needed — tasks may vary depending on project scope Follow project manager instructions and complete assigned tasks on schedule Document work by sending progress photos daily Finish jobs fully and ensure work is complete before payment release. Qualifications Basic hand tools required Reliable transportation Construction or remodeling experience preferred Ability to follow direction Ability to work full‑time Must be able to work as a 1099 independent contractor Skills Basic construction knowledge Ability to use hand tools and power tools Ability to measure, cut, and install materials accurately Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor Ability to follow direction and work independently when needed Strong communication and reliability Problem‑solving and ability to adapt to changing tasks Experience with drywall, flooring, painting, trim, or framing is a plus Embark on a rewarding career journey where your energy fuels progress!
