Job Description
Job Overview Jeness Uniforms is looking for a dependable, hardworking, organized team member to join our small warehouse and operations team. This position plays a critical role in keeping inventory accurate, stores stocked, online orders moving, and our mobile unit prepared for events and customer deliveries. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys staying busy, working with a team, and being part of a growing company that serves healthcare professionals throughout the region. The right person will have opportunities for growth into leadership and operational management as the company continues to expand. Responsibilities Receive and check in incoming merchandise accurately Inspect shipments for damage, shortages, or discrepancies Sort merchandise between retail stores, warehouse, and mobile locations Pull and prepare merchandise for: store replenishment, online orders, etc. Organize warehouse stock and maintain inventory accuracy Label, tag, and prepare products as needed Assist with inventory counts and stock management Keep warehouse and receiving areas clean, organized, and efficient Work closely with store and operations teams to ensure smooth product flow Qualifications Strong work ethic and reliability are essential Ability to stay organized and move quickly in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to lift boxes and merchandise regularly Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and moving throughout the day Basic computer and inventory system skills preferred Previous warehouse, receiving, shipping, retail stock, or inventory experience is a plus — but we are willing to train the right person What We're Looking For We want someone who: Takes pride in doing things the right way Works efficiently without constant supervision Understands the importance of teamwork and accountability Shows initiative and helps solve problems Wants to grow with a company long-term About Us Jeness Uniforms and Scrubs by Jeness are locally owned businesses serving healthcare professionals throughout Hampton Roads and beyond.
