  • We are hiring a
  • Warehouse Worker / Forklift Operator
  • for a small distribution center specializing in building materials such as lumber, hardwood flooring, laminate, fixtures, and cabinet hardware. This is a
  • hands-on role with a strong focus on forklift operation
  • combined with general warehouse duties. You'll spend approximately
  • one-third of your time operating a forklift
  • and the remaining time handling materials, picking orders, and keeping the warehouse organized. This position is ideal for someone dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable with physical warehouse work in a close‑knit team environment.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • + Operate
  • sit-down and stand-up forklifts
  • safely and efficiently to move, stack, and stage materials + Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers + Pick, stage, and prepare customer orders accurately using pick tickets + Use RF scanners and inventory tools to track products and maintain inventory accuracy + Lift and move laminate and wood sheets (approx.
  • 19-25 lbs per sheet
  • , up to 200 sheets/day) + Perform routine forklift safety checks and report maintenance issues + Assist with shipping and receiving, including verifying inbound and outbound shipments + Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard‑free warehouse + Work closely with warehouse teammates to meet daily production goals + Interact professionally with drivers and customers + Be available for
  • weekday overtime when needed (no weekend overtime)
  • Required Qualifications
  • + Prior
  • forklift operating experience
  • in a warehouse or distribution environment + Experience with general warehouse duties such as picking, loading, unloading, and staging + Ability to repeatedly lift 19-25 lbs throughout the shift + Familiarity with RF scanners or basic inventory systems + Reliable attendance and strong work ethic + Comfortable working in a
  • non‑climate‑controlled warehouse

  • Pay and Benefits
  • The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
