Job Description

  • Are you ready to play a crucial role in supporting a high-performing production environment? We're seeking a dedicated
  • Material Handler
  • to ensure our packaging lines run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • + •
Line Replenishment:
  • Keep production lines fully supplied by consistently delivering components, maximizing workflow and minimizing downtime. +
  • Inventory Control:
  • Accurately count, verify, and document component quantities before distributing to lines and cross-check any returned stock. +
  • Equipment Operation:
  • Safely operate forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and manual hoists after completing required shift checklists. +
  • Line Clearance:
  • Clear leftover materials from completed orders, preparing the lines for the next product lot. +
  • Data Documentation:
  • Enter information accurately and legibly in batch production records, logbooks, and clean-up sheets. +
  • Hazardous Materials:
  • Properly handle, transfer, and label hazardous waste in line with EPA regulations, especially for aerosol lines. +
  • Workplace Organization:
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace by actively applying 5S and pharmaceutical plant practices.
  • Role Requirements:

Certification:
  • Must have and maintain a valid, active forklift operator certification. +
  • Compliance Knowledge:
  • Ability to strictly follow cGMP, OSHA, and site-specific safety protocols. +
  • Technical Skills:
  • Basic computer literacy required; familiarity with SAP or warehouse management systems (WMS) highly preferred. +
  • Physical Stamina:
  • Capable of standing, sitting, bending, and pulling for 8- to 12-hour shifts, and lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
