Busch Vacuum Solutions is a leading manufacturer of vacuum pumps, compressors, and blowers for use in industries such as semiconductor manufacturing, food processing, metallurgy, biomedical, and material handling. We have an immediate opportunity for a Warehouseman I at our Regional Distribution Center in Chesapeake, VA. The Warehouseman I plays a key role in supporting daily warehouse operations, including material movement, inventory accuracy, and order fulfillment. This position ensures materials are properly received, stored, and issued to support customer orders and operational efficiency. This is a full-time, onsite position (Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) with minimal travel. Job Responsibilities Essential Functions Ensure that correct quantity and correct material are issued
Verify inventory counts through weekly cycle counts Check incoming material in the computer system and store in designated areas.
Separate non-conforming material to prevent accidental use
Raise visibility of processes contributing to errors
Maintain warehouse equipment (Forklifts, storage racks, PC's, pallet jacks) per guidelines
Ability to work independently within prescribed boundaries
Ability to organize and complete multiple tasks
Maintains picklists and BOL paperwork and file daily
Release and separate daily picklists to ensure detailed accuracy for customer orders
Required Experience High School Diploma or GED:
Required
1+ year of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment: Required
Experience with inventory processes: Preferred
Forklift experience (stand-up and/or sit-down): Required
Experience with lifting equipment (cranes/hoists): Required
Experience operating a box truck: Preferred Computer Skills:
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word): Required Job Requirements Ability and willingness to pass a 10-panel drug screen, 7-year criminal history check Most felonies are a disqualifier, misdemeanors are considered on a case-by-case basis Ability and willingness to travel occasionally (up to 5%) for training purposes
Valid Drivers' License must be maintained throughout employment that meets Busch insurance standards

Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
Regular use of hands for handling, grasping, and operating equipment
