Job Description

Join our growing discount building material wholesale warehouse. We are a small crew of good deal enthusiasts who sell building materials retail and wholesale. Inventory is constantly changing. Job Overview Loading and unloading building materials. Sorting and displaying products. Interacting with customers. General warehouse cleaning and maintenance. Lifting products by hand as well as material handling with Forklifts and pallet trucks. Duties Assist with inventory control by accurately stocking, picking, packing, and organizing products Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, pallet jacks, and other machinery safely and efficiently to load and unload shipments. Support shipping and receiving activities by verifying inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring proper documentation and tracking. Participate in order picking and order fulfillment processes to meet customer demands promptly and accurately. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to OSHA standards, conducting safety inspections, and reporting hazards immediately. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to coordinate materials handling tasks and optimize warehouse distribution workflows. Assist with packaging products securely for shipment while ensuring compliance with quality standards. Qualifications Prior warehouse experience or background in manufacturing or construction environments is preferred. Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, or order pickers; certification is a plus. Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and performing manual tasks efficiently. Knowledge of inventory management practices including stock control, RF scanners, and shipping & receiving procedures. Understanding of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations.
