Job Description
Job Title:
Material Handler Job Description The Material Handler supports the smooth flow of materials and finished goods through the warehouse and production areas. This role focuses on shipping customer orders, receiving and storing parts, replenishing production lines, and maintaining accurate inventory transactions within the ERP system. The position also supports internal teams by fulfilling printed material requests and managing mail and personal package deliveries. Responsibilities Ship finished goods accurately and on time according to customer orders. Compile and prepare orders for subsidiary sites worldwide, ensuring correct documentation and packaging. Collaborate with Customer Care and Accounting to resolve holds and release customer orders in a timely manner. Receive parts delivered to the receiving dock throughout the day and promptly enter them into the system. Store received parts in the appropriate warehouse locations, maintaining organized and efficient storage. Replenish and fill production bins from warehouse stock and deliver materials to assembly lines as needed. Maintain and distribute mail and personal package deliveries within the facility. Fulfill printed material orders to support Sales, Marketing, and Production teams. Package raw materials and sub-assembly products into system-level, shippable finished goods. Perform regular cycle counts and conduct root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies. Transact inventory into finished goods and move parts between ERP warehouse locations accurately. Use RF scanners and related equipment to pick, pack, and handle materials efficiently. Follow written procedures and work instructions to ensure quality and compliance. Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily, weekly, and monthly operational goals. Essential Skills High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience with inventory, picking, packing, and general labor in a warehouse or production environment. Hands-on experience with material handling, including use of RF scanners. Ability to read, understand, and follow written procedures and work instructions. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. safely and repeatedly as required. Familiarity with MS Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, and Excel. Experience performing transactions in an ERP system. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Consistent punctuality and a professional, can-do attitude. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in a medical device, manufacturing, or distribution environment is beneficial. Comfort working with global shipping documentation and processes. Ability to identify and help resolve process issues through root cause analysis. Strong customer service mindset when supporting internal departments such as Sales, Marketing, Production, Customer Care, and Accounting. Why Work Here? Work Environment This role is based in a global medical device organization known for its bladder volume measurement and airway management solutions, including portable ultrasound and video laryngoscopy and bronchoscopy systems. You will work in a warehouse and production-support setting that interacts closely with assembly lines, receiving docks, and shipping areas. The position involves frequent use of an ERP system, RF scanners, and standard office tools such as MS Word, Outlook, and Excel. Work typically follows a structured schedule with a focus on meeting shipping, receiving, and production support deadlines. The environment is fast-paced, team-oriented, and safety-conscious, with regular physical activity such as lifting, moving, and organizing materials. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Bothell, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.86 - $21.86/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
