These roles play a vital part in the production process by operating roasting and grinding equipment, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. The Day-to-Day:
Operate production equipment such as roasters, grinders, elevators, and coolers under the guidance from supervisors and leads. Grind and roast products to exact specifications, preparing them for final packaging. Monitor and adjust machinery as needed, and report maintenance issues promptly. Accurately track inventory and production data using a computer-based system. Reprocess or rework product to meet quality standards when necessary. Maintain cleanliness and organization in assigned work areas, especially roasting/grinding zones. Adhere strictly to safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Consistently produce high-quality products that meet or exceed customer expectations.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent. •Prior and/or recent manufacturing or production experience•Ability to interpret quality specifications such as die-lines, temperatures, measurements, and bag height. Basic mechanical knowledge and the ability to use common hand tools. Comfortable using computers and performing basic data entry. Ability to identify and troubleshoot minor issues with packaging or processing equipment. Understanding of how to adjust machine settings such as time, pressure, and temperature for optimal performance.
Pay Rate:
$18.77 to $19.50/hr
