Temp-to-hire, Full-time, Contract Shipping & Receiving Associate Pay Rate:

$23.50/hour

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM InSync is seeking a dependable and motivated Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone with warehouse experience who is looking for a long-term opportunity with potential for permanent employment. The ideal candidate will have forklift and RF scanner experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Occasional Saturday work will be required approximately 5-6 times per year based on business needs. Responsibilities Receive incoming materials, supplies, equipment, and finished products Verify shipments against receiving documentation and inspect items for accuracy and condition Gather, verify, test, pack, and prepare items for shipment according to specifications Record received and shipped items following established procedures Route materials and equipment to inspection, storage, or stock areas Complete written and computerized shipping and receiving documentation Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and hydraulic jack lifts Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and shipments Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment Assist with general warehouse duties as needed Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of shipping, receiving, warehouse, or related experience Forklift experience required; certification preferred RF scanner experience required High school diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience Knowledge of standard shipping and receiving procedures Basic reading, writing, math, and computer skills Effective verbal communication skills Valid driver's license with a good driving record may be required Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to work independently and as part of a team What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and ready to contribute from day one.
