Job Description

Hiring Forklift Operator/Warehouse Worker! Job Description This role supports a busy wholesale warehouse by accurately filling customer orders, handling inventory, and preparing products for shipment. You will work both inside the warehouse and in the outdoor yard, using equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners while contributing to a fast-paced, safety-focused operation. Responsibilities Order picking — Accurately pick, pull, package, and ship plumbing/waterworks orders. Forklift & equipment operation — Load/unload trucks; operate forklifts, stand‑ups, order pickers, and other warehouse equipment. RF scanning — Use RF scanners, scan guns, and Zebra devices for order processing and inventory tracking. Inventory control — Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate stock levels. Yard work — Handle large pipe and outdoor‑stored materials in varying weather. Will‑call support — Assist fast‑paced customer pickups with accuracy and speed. Data entry — Update orders, inventory, and shipping information. Tool use — Use hand/power tools for basic warehouse tasks. Communication — Communicate clearly over radio with team and supervisors. Physical demands — Lift 50+ lbs regularly; work independently and as part of a small team. Safety & housekeeping — Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace. Growth readiness — Position yourself for advancement into non‑CDL driving or lead roles. Essential Skills Forklift operation (1+ year) RF scanner proficiency including Zebra devices. Inventory & cycle counting experience. Order pulling in a fast‑paced warehouse. Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work indoors/outdoors in hot/cold conditions. Strong verbal communication, initiative, and teamwork. Additional Qualifications Experience in wholesale distribution , shipping/receiving , and high‑volume warehouse work . Strong attention to detail, safety focus, and alignment with a small, family‑oriented team culture. Interest in long‑term growth into driving or lead positions.
