Warehouse Material Specialist Job Overview We're looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Material Specialist to support daily logistics operations and inventory control. In this role, you'll manage materials within an MRP system and ensure efficient movement of goods throughout the facility using powered equipment and manual handling techniques. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate inventory records and perform routine cycle counts within the MRP system Load and unload shipments, including ocean containers and delivery trucks, using appropriate tools and equipment Pick, stage, and prepare materials to fulfill sales orders, production work orders, and internal requests Handle shipping and receiving activities, including inspecting, storing, and distributing incoming and outgoing goods Keep warehouse and stockroom areas clean, organized, and well-maintained Perform data entry and maintain documentation related to inventory and shipments Package and prepare parts, spare components, and machinery for shipment or special projects Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, stock pickers, and other material handling equipment safely Split time between warehouse operations (material handling) and light production support tasks such as deburring and sanding components Required Skills & Experience Hands-on experience with inventory control, cycle counting, and warehouse operations Background in shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment Ability to safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Valid driver's license Preferred Qualifications 2-3 years of experience in a similar inventory, warehouse, or logistics role Experience working in an MRP or ERP system Familiarity with light manufacturing support tasks such as deburring Why Join Us? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kent, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
