Hours are Monday - Friday 7:00am-3:30pm.

Job Summary:
The Material Handler I is responsible for receiving, moving, storing, counting, tracking, issuing, and shipping a variety of production parts, materials, and supplies. The production floor relies on this position to provide the right parts and materials at the right time to meet on-time-delivery goals.
Essential Functions:
Maintain accurate inventory control by following established work instructions and processes. Move materials to and from receiving, production areas and shipping by hand, using sorting bins and carts, or other equipment Unpack, receive, and stock materials into storeroom location(s) Read work orders to determine material and equipment needs for production cell work Issue critical materials to production cells Complete the cycle count process for Value Stream; Escalate variances in counts, as needed Respond to unplanned issues with internal customers in a timely manner Pack and ship materials in accordance with contract requirements Aid and/or Backfill coworkers, as needed to complete daily tasks Ensure compliance with export compliance rules Any other task assigned by supervisor or management
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience:
0-3 years of relevant manufacturing experience
Knowledge:
Warehousing and materials packing knowledge; Familiar with lean principles
Skills/Abilities:
Demonstrated outstanding manual dexterity; Demonstrated ability to concentrate on repetitive tasks; Demonstrated ability to accurately follow detailed work instructions; Demonstrated ability to understand standard work instructions; Math skills to perform basic calculations; Outstanding verbal communication skills; Proficient with
MS Office Education/Certification:
High School diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience working with manufacturing software tools Materials and Logistics experience
Working Conditions:
Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment Manufacturing operations may require the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: eye safety glasses, gowning, masks, hearing protectors, heel/wrist straps and any other required PPE May be exposed to unusual environmental conditions such as loud noises, cold temperatures, confined spaces, dust or fumes
Standing:

Salary Range:
22.86-28.16 Several factors contribute to actual salary, including experience in a similar role or performing comparable job responsibilities, skills, training, and other qualifications. Some roles may be eligible for participation in performance-based bonus programs.
