The Lead Warehouse Associate is a key member of the warehouse team responsible for ensuring the accurate, efficient, and timely fulfillment of customer orders. This position serves as a lead resource for warehouse associates by providing training, guidance, and support for daily warehouse operations. In addition to order picking and packing responsibilities, the Lead Warehouse Associate assists with inventory management, receiving, shipping, equipment operation, and process improvement initiatives. This role promotes safety, accuracy, and productivity while leading by example and maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities and Duties Serve as the primary resource for warehouse associates by providing training, guidance, and support on warehouse processes, RF scanning technology, equipment operation, and safety procedures. Lead by example in the accurate and efficient fulfillment of customer orders through picking, packing, and shipping activities. Audit order accuracy, investigate picking discrepancies, and assist with troubleshooting inventory and operational issues. Coordinate inventory movement, replenishment, consolidation, and space utilization to maintain an organized and efficient warehouse environment. Support receiving and shipping operations, including unloading inbound containers, loading outbound shipments, and verifying inventory transactions. Conduct cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure inventory accuracy and identify variances. Safely operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, order pickers, turret trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanning technology. Monitor equipment condition and communicate maintenance, safety, or operational concerns to warehouse management. Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and overall operational readiness while performing additional warehouse duties as assigned. Key Issues, Decisions, and Job Requirements Work as a collaborative member of the warehouse team while providing leadership and guidance to associates. Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and process compliance. Ability to follow and enforce company policies, procedures, and safety standards. Prior warehouse experience including inventory control, order picking, packing, receiving, and shipping operations. Prior forklift certification or demonstrated equipment operating experience required. Experience using RF scanners, warehouse management systems, or barcode technology. Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and best practices. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative. Ability to train and mentor other warehouse associates. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Physical Requirements Ability to lift, move, and carry products weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and operate warehouse equipment throughout the workday. Day shift (7:00AM - 3:30PM)
