  • Fri) Job Description The Warehouse Associate works in a high-volume distribution environment, packaging and preparing products for shipment on an assembly line.
This role involves opening cases of product, placing items into boxes, performing visual inspections, labeling, palletizing, and preparing mixed case orders by picking and verifying products. The position requires strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, efficiency, flexibility, and clear, respectful communication with team members. Responsibilities Work on an assembly line to package and prepare products for shipment according to established procedures and quality standards. Open cases of product and accurately place individual items into boxes in the correct configuration. Perform thorough visual inspections of products to identify and remove defective or damaged items. Apply labels accurately to products, boxes, and cases to ensure correct identification and traceability. Stack and organize labeled cases onto pallets in a safe and efficient manner for outbound shipments. Rotate through a variety of assigned positions on the manual line as part of a rotation system to support overall workflow. Prepare mixed case orders for shipment by picking products according to order requirements and verifying accuracy before completion. Maintain an organized and clean work area to support safety, efficiency, and product quality. Communicate respectfully and clearly with coworkers and supervisors to coordinate tasks and resolve issues. Follow all safety guidelines and procedures while working around moving machinery and warehouse equipment. Essential Skills Demonstrated manual dexterity to perform repetitive assembly and packaging tasks efficiently and accurately. Strong attention to detail to ensure correct labeling, accurate order picking, and effective visual inspection of products. Ability to work effectively in a warehouse assembly environment with high activity levels. Capacity to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality and productivity standards. Effective communication skills to interact respectfully with team members and support a collaborative work environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma. Experience with assembly, refurbishment, rebuild, or packaging work in a warehouse or similar environment. Ability to adapt to a rotation of positions on a manual assembly line. Organizational skills to manage tasks and maintain an orderly work area. Why Work Here? Work Environment This role is based in a warehouse assembly environment at a distribution center in North Bend, WA. You will work alongside up to 100 associates within the department on manual assembly lines and in general warehouse areas. The atmosphere is casual, and jeans with non-offensive T-shirts are acceptable attire. For safety reasons, skirts and dresses are not allowed due to the risk of clothing becoming caught in moving machinery. The standard shift schedule is Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:40 p.m., providing a consistent daytime work routine in a busy, production-focused facility.\ Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of North Bend, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00
