Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Technician and become a vital part of our fast-paced distribution operation! In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of inventory, operating heavy equipment, and maintaining accurate stock levels. Your expertise will help streamline warehouse distribution processes, support manufacturing and shipping activities, and uphold safety standards across the facility. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment including reach trucks, cranes, forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently. Manage inventory control through accurate stock counting, cycle counting, and utilizing warehouse management systems such as AS400 or RF scanners. Support shipping and receiving operations by preparing orders for shipment, verifying incoming deliveries, and ensuring proper documentation. Assist with order fulfillment by picking, packing, and preparing products for delivery while maintaining high accuracy standards. Conduct materials handling tasks involving heavy lifting, stocking shelves, and organizing warehouse layout to optimize space utilization. Follow OSHA safety regulations diligently to maintain a safe working environment; report any hazards or incidents immediately. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to improve warehouse distribution processes and ensure compliance with company policies. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers with familiarity in inventory management systems. Valid certification for operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, cranes, forklifts, or order pickers is highly preferred. Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse machinery and equipment maintenance is a plus. Strong skills in inventory control, stock management, and using RF scanners or AS400 systems for data entry. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently; previous experience with pallet jacks and other materials handling tools is advantageous. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards applicable to warehouse environments. Prior experience in manufacturing or construction environments involving heavy equipment operation is beneficial but not required. Pay:
$18.00 - $30.00 per hour
