- Inspect, clean, and stage commercial restaurant equipment (refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers, and more) for delivery. Ensure items are undamaged, complete, and ready for handoff to the customer. Delivery & Installation Assistance
- Accompany or lead deliveries to customer locations throughout the Seattle area and beyond. Safely load and unload heavy equipment using appliance dollies, straps, and lift gates. Position equipment in the customer's space and ensure a professional, damage-free handoff. Box Truck Operation
- Candidates with a valid Class B CDL (or Class A) who independently operate our 26-foot box truck earn $25.00/hr. Candidates without a CDL are welcome to apply at $24.00/hr and will assist with deliveries as the second person on the truck. Customer Interaction
- Represent Dick's Restaurant Supply professionally at every delivery. Communicate clearly with customers, answer basic product questions, and flag any feedback or sales opportunities to the team. Delivery Coordination
- Work with the Warehouse Manager to confirm delivery schedules, verify orders before loading, and communicate any issues or delays promptly. Receiving
- Check in incoming freight shipments for accuracy and damage. Log discrepancies and notify the Warehouse Manager. Restocking
- Restock showroom shelves and display areas. Rotate stock, remove damaged items, and update pricing labels as needed. Back Warehouse Organisation
- Keep the warehouse organised, properly labelled, and easy to navigate. Ensure equipment is stored safely and accessibly. Facility Maintenance
- Assist with general cleanliness and upkeep of the warehouse and showroom, including sweeping, dusting, and tidying. Customer & Phone Support
- Help customers on the floor or at the register as needed.
Qualifications Required:
Ability to safely handle, load, and unload heavy commercial restaurant equipment. Reliable, punctual, and comfortable with a physically demanding daily workload. Professional demeanour — you will be representing Dick's in customer locations every day. Strong attention to detail when preparing and verifying equipment orders. Ability to work independently and as part of a small, tight-knit team. Valid driver's licence and clean driving record.Preferred:
Valid Class B CDL (Class A also accepted) — candidates who independently operate the 26-foot box truck earn $25.00/hr. Non-CDL candidates assist with deliveries as a second person at $24.00/hr. Prior experience in delivery, logistics, moving, or warehouse operations. Familiarity with appliance dollies, straps, lift gates, and material-handling equipment. Basic computer skills for order verification and inventory systems (training provided). Interest in growing into a customer-facing sales role over time. This is a highly physical role centred on delivery of large commercial equipment. Candidates must be able to perform the following with or without reasonable accommodation: Regularly lift, carry, and manoeuvre items weighing up to 75 lbs; team lifts required for heavier commercial equipment (refrigerators, ovens, etc.). Load and unload a 26-foot box truck, including use of a lift gate, appliance dollies, and load straps. Navigate stairs, doorways, and tight spaces while moving large equipment. Stand, walk, and remain on your feet for the majority of the workday. Bend, stoop, twist, and reach repeatedly throughout the day. Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other manual material-handling equipment safely. Sit and operate a vehicle for extended periods on delivery days (CDL holders).Pay:
$24.00- $27.
