We pride ourselves on exceptional customer service, reliable deliveries, and building long-term relationships with our customers. We are seeking a dependable, hardworking Warehouse Associate / Delivery Driver who enjoys a fast-paced environment and takes pride in providing excellent service. Position Summary This position combines warehouse operations and customer deliveries. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-conscious, physically capable, and enjoys interacting with customers. Most deliveries are local and allow employees to return home daily. Approximately every other week, team members participate in regional delivery routes that may require overnight travel. All required overnight accommodations and approved travel expenses are paid by the company. You will spend part of your time preparing orders, receiving inventory, and maintaining warehouse organization, and part of your time delivering products to customers throughout Washington, Idaho, Montana, and surrounding service areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Duties Pick, pack, and stage customer orders accurately Load and unload trucks safely Receive, inspect, and stock incoming inventory Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization Conduct inventory counts and assist with inventory management Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse equipment (training provided) Follow all safety procedures and company policies Delivery Duties Deliver customer orders safely and professionally Load delivery vehicles and verify orders before departure Inspect vehicles before and after routes Obtain delivery confirmations and required paperwork Build positive relationships with customers during deliveries Communicate delivery status and customer feedback to management Assist customers with unloading when necessary Complete regular local delivery routes that typically return home each day with no overnight travel required Participate in scheduled regional delivery routes approximately every other week, which may require overnight travel Overnight accommodations and approved travel expenses for regional delivery routes are paid by the company Represent Royal Upholstery & Distributing professionally while interacting with customers throughout Washington, Idaho, Montana, and surrounding service areas QualificationsRequired Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds regularly Strong attendance and reliability Excellent customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic computer and smartphone proficiency Ability to pass a background check and motor vehicle record review Preferred Warehouse experience Delivery driving experience Forklift certification Experience with inventory systems Upholstery, furniture manufacturing, or distribution experience
Compensation & Benefits:
Pay Range:
$19.00-$22.00 per hour, depending on experience Benefits Medical insurance available after 90 days of employment. Employer contributes toward monthly premiums; employees are responsible for the remaining cost.
