Job Description

AiBox LLC is a growing company that prides itself on delivering top-quality products to customers across the globe. We're looking for a proactive, organized, and experienced Part-Time Warehouse associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of our warehouse, including packing and shipping orders, managing inventory, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, operating forklifts, and providing customer support services. If you thrive in a dynamic, hands-on role and have a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you! This role offers the chance to learn a variety of skills related to logistics, warehousing, and e-commerce operations—not limited to platforms like Amazon, Shopify, and eBay.
Job Overview :
The Part-Time Warehouse associate will oversee multiple aspects of warehouse operations. You will be responsible for packing, shipping, and preparation of orders before pickup, ensuring inventory is accurately tracked and updated, maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment, and operating the forklift to offload pallets upon container arrival. Additionally, you will handle customer support inquiries related to warehouse operations, ensuring all communication is clear, professional, and timely.
Key Responsibilities :
Packing and Shipping Orders :
Ensure accurate and timely packing of customer orders according to order specifications, following all packaging guidelines and quality control checks. Use packing materials efficiently to prevent damage during transit while keeping shipping costs within budget. Organize and label packages for shipping in an organized manner, ensuring all necessary documentation (e.g., shipping labels, invoices) is attached. Coordinate with shipping carriers to ensure packages are picked up and shipped on time.
Preparing Shipments Before Pickup :
Ensure that shipments are fully prepared before the scheduled pickup dates, including labeling, securing, and organizing products for transportation. Check that all required documentation is in order and verify shipment contents to avoid delays or errors. Communicate with shipping companies to confirm pickup times and resolve any last-minute issues regarding shipments.
Inventory Management and Data Accuracy :
Maintain accurate inventory counts and update the system in real-time to reflect any changes in stock levels, including incoming and outgoing shipments. Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and prevent discrepancies. Implement effective strategies for inventory organization, making it easy to locate products and manage stock rotation (FIFO - First In, First Out). Work closely with the purchasing team to identify inventory needs and ensure optimal stock levels are maintained.
Warehouse Cleanliness and Organization :
Ensure that the warehouse is clean, organized, and safe at all times, adhering to company standards and safety protocols. Regularly inspect warehouse equipment and workspaces for cleanliness and orderliness, removing any obstacles or hazards. Maintain designated areas for different types of products and ensure they are clearly marked and easy to navigate.
Forklift Operation and Offloading Pallets :
Safely operate forklifts to offload pallets and containers upon arrival, ensuring that inventory is properly stored and accounted for. Move large shipments and pallets around the warehouse as needed, ensuring the efficient flow of products. Inspect and maintain the forklift regularly, reporting any issues or maintenance needs promptly to avoid downtime. Ensure that all loading and unloading procedures are carried out in compliance with safety standards.
Customer Support Services :
Provide exceptional customer support by responding to inquiries related to order status, shipping, inventory availability, and delivery issues. Work directly with customers to resolve any shipping errors, delays, or damaged goods in a timely and professional manner. Liaise between customers and the warehouse team to ensure accurate and efficient order fulfillment. Communicate with customers regarding expected delivery timelines and any potential delays due to inventory or shipping issues.
Qualifications :
Previous experience in warehouse management or similar role is preferred. Strong knowledge of inventory management, packing/shipping processes, and order fulfillment. Enthusiasm for learning about e-commerce, including platforms like Amazon, Shopify, and eBay. Why Join Us? Competitive hourly wage and performance-based incentives. Opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of a dynamic company. A supportive and inclusive work environment with opportunities for development.
