Job Description

As the Warehouse Associate, you will support and meet the daily requirements as an entry-level worker in warehouse operations. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for day-to-day tasks that keep the warehouse running efficiently, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping and organizing stock.
What You Will Do:
Unload floor stacked containers and palletize cartons according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).‌ Visually verify the quantity, part number and overall quality of the cartons/pallet. Label individual cartons per customer requirements in the vendor guidelines. ‌ ‌Stage‌ ‌pallets‌ ‌utilizing‌ various pieces of MHE. Deliver‌ packages ‌to internal ‌customers. Accurately‌ ‌pick‌ ‌orders‌ ‌verifying‌ ‌the‌ ‌location, ‌ ‌part‌ ‌number, ‌‌lot‌ ‌code‌ ‌and‌ ‌quantity on reach trucks or order pickers. ‌ Communicate missing product ‌or ‌quality issues ‌to distribution center management. ‌ Pack‌ ‌orders‌ ‌and‌ ‌verify‌ ‌product‌ ‌was‌ ‌picked‌ ‌correctly. ‌ Consolidate‌ ‌the‌ ‌order‌ ‌by‌ ‌packing‌ ‌it‌ ‌into‌ ‌the‌ ‌least‌ ‌amount‌ ‌of‌ ‌shipping‌ ‌cartons. ‌ Inspect product for quality or damage before shipment. Verify‌ ‌product‌ ‌utilizing‌ ‌the‌ ‌appropriate‌ ‌carrier, ‌‌shipping‌ ‌priority‌ ‌and‌ ‌shipping‌ ‌program‌ ‌(PC).‌ Participate in daily cleanups to maintain a safe and organized work environment. Other‌ ‌responsibilities‌ ‌as‌ ‌identified‌ ‌and‌ ‌required‌ ‌by‌ distribution center management. ‌ Load finished goods into trailers for customer delivery. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Occasional overtime may be required.
What We Are Looking For:
High School Diploma or
GED. 0-3
Years of warehouse experience. Able to multitask, organize, prioritize, and manage time efficiently. Proficient verbal and written communication skills. Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced, and time-sensitive environment. Can easily adapt to shifting priorities. Excellent attention to detail. Understanding of compliance and safety. Fluent reading and writing skills. Dependable. Flexible. Ability to follow directions. Team oriented. Basic computer skills.

Works in areas requiring exposure to varying temperatures, extreme heat or cold and damp or drafty conditions
Schedule:
Variable schedule; including nights and weekends - Ocassional overtime may be required
Physical Requirements:
Frequently lifts objects weighing up to 50 lbs and occasionally moves objects over 100 lb with a planet Jack. What we offer:
The hourly range for this position is $18.92 - z421.82 per hour. The base hourly rate may vary based on experience, role tenure, performance, industry, and location. Eligibility for the annual performance incentive may apply. Jazwares is a multi-state employer, so the salary range may not apply to other states.
