Job Description

As Warehouse Assistant you will be an integral part of team, assisting with the following duties along with any additional business needs as assigned by management and Production management. Inspect physical conditions of warehouses, fleet vehicles, or equipment and perform maintenance, order testing, repairs, or replacements. Monitor and report inventory levels of products or materials in warehouse. Purchase materials, equipment, or other resources. ( Will work with Everett Shop manager on purchasing) Prepare ordered material request and deliver materials/equipment to designated jobsites as needed. Analyze all options to determine the most cost-effective or efficient means of transporting products or supplies. Confer with management to coordinate warehouse activities, such as production, records control, or purchasing. Recommend or authorize capital expenditures for acquisition of new equipment or property to increase efficiency and services. Operates working equipment such as forklifts, box trucks and trailers.

Experience preferred. Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, inventory, or stocking Maintain clean and organized work areas to include securely storing equipment and supplies while not in use Ensure the company vehicles are fully stocked at all times and travel to a nearby home improvement store to purchase needed items. Monitor the safety, security, efficiency, and appearance of the company vehicles and property. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
What You Will Bring:
1 year experience in construction and / or restoration. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required Excellent time management, problem solving, leadership and communication skills. Flexible, proactive, resourceful, efficient and a strong attention to detail. Ability to operate forklift Experience with mechanical & hydraulic systems a plus Communicates openly by listening and providing feedback. Excellent verbal and written communication.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift materials and equipment of 75 lbs. or more
Other Requirements:
Able to pass a background check Drug Screening Test Valid Drivers License with clean driving record Summary As a Warehouse Assistant, you will help to oversee the efficient operation of our warehouse and fleet management activities. With core skills in supply chain management, inventory control, and logistics, you will be responsible for optimizing inventory levels, coordinating transportation, and ensuring smooth warehouse operations. Your premium skills in profit & loss analysis, process improvement, and demand planning will be instrumental in enhancing operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Leveraging your relevant skills in fleet management, materials management, and order fulfillment, you will contribute to the seamless flow of goods and services within our organization.
