Position:
Transfer and store inventory and supplies via forklifts, pallet jacks and carts to support production and perform inventory counts and verification activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Preparation of shipping labels and Bills of Lading Assist in getting freight quotes and shipping arrangements via online and/or phone Load/Unload trucks using forklifts and hand trucks. Inspect, label, and ship or receive parts and products in ERP system Perform inventory verification counts according to the cycle count plan. Make necessary quantity adjustments in ERP system. Store and reorganize parts and products in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouse, shipment staging areas, and production areas Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.
Position Requirements:
High School or equivalent and 2 years of related experience and/or training. Forklift certification preferred, but will provide as necessary Good communication and organizational skills Exceptional attention to detail Good basic math skills Good computer skills
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee is occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds with assistance. The employee is regularly required to stand or sit for moderate periods of time; walk; use hands and fingers to handle, or feel; balance; bend and reach with hands and arms; use feet to operate foot pedal operation; and talk or hear. Occasionally required to climb ladders, sit, stoop, kneel, squat, crouch, or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly working near moving mechanical equipment and forklifts. The noise level in the work environment is low. Employee may be required to unload trucks outside during all seasons.
