Job Description
This position is responsible for loading and unloading construction building materials and equipment on trucks and trailers. Attention to detail when loading and unloading is important. Employees must maintain a clean and safe work environment. Position may be required to work across a wide variety of weather conditions. Truck loading includes pulling pallets of material from the warehouse as well as pulling loose materials, packaging, loading on to trucks, securing of loads, and confirming all materials match the packing list. Responsible for unloading incoming and returned materials, documenting materials, and putting materials away in designated locations. Position requires standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting reaching and lifting. Position may also include delivery of materials and equipment to job sites and general building maintenance and repairs.
