General Labor - Start Now Job Description This role involves performing basic disassembly of small components in a lab pack facility. You will work at a station, standing for most of the day, and focus on a single, repetitive disassembly task while following safety procedures and maintaining a clean, organized work area. Responsibilities Perform basic disassembly of small components according to established procedures and quality standards. Stand at a work table for the majority of the shift to complete a single, repetitive disassembly task efficiently. Handle materials safely and accurately as they move through the disassembly process. Follow written and verbal instructions to ensure proper documentation and handling of materials. Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safety and productivity. Use required personal protective equipment, including steel-toed shoes and safety glasses, at all times. Adhere to all facility safety rules and protocols, including those specific to the lab pack environment. Work collaboratively with team members and communicate any issues or concerns to supervisors promptly. Essential Skills At least two years of solid work history in the last three years in a manufacturing, warehouse, or environmental field. Ability to stand for extended periods while performing repetitive manual tasks. Experience with basic material handling in an industrial or warehouse setting. Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures. Strong attention to safety practices in an industrial or warehouse environment. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Openness to considering relevant military experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in a lab pack facility or similar environment is a plus. Comfort working in an older warehouse setting with multiple product lines. Ability to handle repetitive tasks while maintaining focus and quality. Work Environment The role is based in a lab pack facility located in an older warehouse that is divided into several product lines. While the warehouse itself is aged, the offices have been renovated to provide an updated and professional support environment. There is a strong emphasis on safety throughout the facility, with clear protocols and expectations for safe work practices. The position requires standing at a table for most of the day to perform repetitive disassembly tasks. Steel-toed shoes and safety glasses are required as part of the standard dress code and personal protective equipment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Butler, Wisconsin. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $12.51 - $12.51/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
